人类进入空间时代以来,陆续发现来自宇宙空间的各种高能爆发现象,包括来自宇宙深处的天体爆炸,来自太阳的耀斑活动,以及来自地球的伽马闪等。为了探索这些现象的物理机制和起源之谜,我们提出并研制发射了极目卫星(GECAM),其核心科学目标包括引力波高能电磁对应体和伽马射线暴,以及快速射电暴高能辐射和磁陀星。本报告将介绍GECAM卫星及其科学发现。
Since the dawn of the space age, humans have discovered a variety of high-energy burst phenomena originating from the cosmos. These include stellar explosions from the distant universe, solar flare activities, and terrestrial gamma-ray flashes. To investigate the physical mechanisms and origins of these phenomena, we proposed, developed, and launched the GECAM satellites. Its core scientific objectives include the detection of gravitational wave electromagnetic counterpart and gamma-ray bursts, as well as fast radio bursts high energy counterpart and magnetars. In this talk, I will introduce the GECAM satellite and its scientific discoveries.

熊少林,中国科学院高能物理研究所研究员、博士生导师,极目(GECAM)系列卫星首席科学家,粒子天体物理全国重点实验室副主任。主要从事空间天文、高能天体物理、以及大气高能辐射等方面的研究,包括伽马射线暴、引力波、磁陀星、快速射电暴、地球伽马闪等。参与慧眼(Insight-HXMT)、天极(POLAR)、极目(GECAM)、Fermi、SVOM、CATCH、eXTP等国内外空间天文卫星项目。发表论文200余篇,总引用10000余次。
XIONG Shaolin is a researcher at the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He serves as the Principal Investigator of the GECAM satellite series and the deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Particle Astrophysics. His research focuses on space astronomy, high-energy astrophysics, and atmospheric high-energy radiation, including gamma-ray bursts (GRB), gravitational waves (GW), magnetars (SGR), fast radio bursts (FRB), and terrestrial gamma-ray flashes (TGF). He has participated in several space astronomy satellite projects, such as Insight-HXMT, POLAR, GECAM, Fermi, SVOM, CATCH, and eXTP. He has published over 200 papers, with more than 10,000 citations.
